Some venues rent you a room. A truly exclusive wedding venue in Provence hands you the keys to an entire estate and then steps back. That is the promise of Château Pimõ, a private château set among vines and centenary olive trees near Draguignan, in the Var — one hour from Aix-en-Provence, 1h30 from Saint-Tropez and 1h40 from Nice, yet far enough from everything to feel like your own corner of Provence.
Total privatisation, from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon
At Château Pimõ, exclusivity is not an upgrade — it is the default. The three-day formula opens the entire estate to you at 5 p.m. on day one; bedrooms are yours until noon on day three, and the reception spaces until 4 p.m. No other couple, no shared timeline, no service doors closing behind another party. A shorter two-day formula gives you the reception spaces from 1 p.m., the bridal room from 2 p.m. and guest rooms from 3 p.m.
Included in that privatisation: the five five-star suites inside the château, private parking for more than 50 vehicles, reception furniture (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence chairs and 180 cm round tables), full cleaning after the party, and day-of coordination handled by one of two partner agencies — La Maison Française or Mondello Hospitality, whichever you feel closer to.
Six settings, one continuous weekend
The estate is designed as a sequence rather than a single ballroom. The night before, the Rooftop hosts a candlelit welcome dinner under a wrought-iron pergola, facing the Provençal hills at sunset. The ceremony takes place in La Roseraie, a rose garden built for vows and portraits. Cocktails move to the pool and its centenary olive trees.
Dinner is served beneath a 180 m² nomad tent pitched between the olive trees and the vines, lit with guinguette garlands — included in every privatisation, not billed as an extra. The party then moves indoors to the fully air-conditioned Ballroom, where music plays at full volume until 3 a.m. before softening so the night can continue more intimately. The following morning, brunch is served by the pool.
Five-star suites and a spa your guests will not want to leave
Five individually named suites — La Birdy, La Chronographe, La Tour in the château's historic tower, La Constellation and La Gulf, the bridal suite, offered for your wedding night — are entirely renovated, each with its own luxurious bathroom. More than 100 additional beds are available in the immediate vicinity for larger guest lists.
Guests staying on site also have access to the wellness area: a heated indoor pool, a wooden sauna, a traditional hammam, a massage room and a relaxation space. It changes the rhythm of the whole weekend — preparations begin unhurried rather than frantic.
Transparent 2026–2027 rates, and complete freedom of vendors
Rates are published, inclusive of tax, and cover the five suites. The three-day, two-night formula runs from €7,980 in low season (November to March) to €11,980 for a Friday-to-Sunday weekend in June, July or August. The two-day, one-night formula starts at €5,980 in low season and reaches €9,980 for a summer weekend.
Two clauses matter enormously for international couples: there is no imposed vendor list — bring your own caterer, planner, photographer or band — and no corkage fee, so the wines, champagnes and spirits you choose arrive without a surcharge. If you would rather compare approaches first, our guide to a private estate wedding in Provence sets out what full privatisation really involves.
Getting your guests there
Draguignan sits 20 minutes from Brignoles, one hour from Aix-en-Provence and 1h15 from Marseille, with Nice airport 1h40 away and Paris 3h30 by TGV — close enough that European guests can arrive on the Friday and still make the welcome dinner. Aurélien, your first point of contact, answers personally seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and arranges visits with Fabien, the château's owner, who shows couples around himself.
If your idea of an exclusive wedding venue in Provence is an entire château, a rose garden, a nomad tent and a spa — all yours, with no one else on the property — book a free visit and see the light for yourself.
