A wedding weekend, not just a wedding day

Yes in Provence manages and represents four wedding venues across Provence — in the Vaucluse near Avignon, in the Var, and in the Gard provençal. Each one is hired exclusively: for the duration of your stay, the estate belongs to you and your guests alone. Most couples book three days and two nights, which turns a single day into a proper weekend — a welcome dinner on the Friday, the wedding itself on the Saturday, and a long brunch before everyone leaves.

We work with French and international couples alike. Visits, contracts and wedding-day coordination are handled in English, and no supplier is imposed on you — you are free to bring your own caterer, florist and photographer, and to serve your own wine without corkage.

  • 80 to 200 guests depending on the estate
  • On-site accommodation at every venue
  • No curfew — the music does not stop at midnight
  • No imposed suppliers, no corkage on your own wine
  • Free visits, in English, 7 days a week
  • 1h15 from Marseille airport, 1h45 from Nice

Our four wedding venues

Each estate has its own character — riverside wilderness, a chic open-air guinguette, a prestige château, or a 17th-century hamlet.

Planning a destination wedding in Provence

Can we get married in Provence as foreign nationals?

A legally binding civil ceremony in France requires one partner to have lived in the commune for at least 30 days, which is impractical for most international couples. In practice, couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic or religious ceremony at the venue. We can put you in touch with celebrants who work in English.

How many guests can you host?

From 80 to 200 depending on the estate. L'Oasis du Saule and Le Clos d'Hullias each host up to 130 guests; the Domaine de Montaud up to 150.

Is accommodation available on site?

Yes, at every venue — 49 beds at the Domaine de Montaud across four gîtes and five luxury tipis, and 28 beds at Le Clos d'Hullias. Guests can stay for the whole weekend rather than driving back after dinner.

When is the best time of year?

The reliable outdoor season in Provence runs from late April to mid-October. June and September are the most sought-after months; July and August are hotter and priced accordingly.

How do our guests get there?

Marseille airport (MRS) is 1h15 away, Nice (NCE) 1h45 and Toulon 1h. The TGV stations at Avignon and Aix-en-Provence put you around 3h30 from Paris.

Do you speak English?

Yes. Visits, contracts and wedding-day coordination are all available in English, seven days a week from 9am to 7.30pm. Visits are free and carry no obligation.

Come and see for yourself

Visits are free, in English, and carry no obligation. Tell us your date and guest count, and we will tell you honestly which of the four estates fits — or if none of them do.
